There are many views on the subject of whaling and ours is but one. From whole countries to one individual each finds a reason or excuse to kill or conserve our ocean's whales. Some are more outspoken than others and some just don't care.

In 1972 the United Nations Conference on the Human Environment, in a clear expression of a wide popular belief in the right of whales to survival, there was a vote of 52 nations to 0 in favour of an immediate cessation of all commercial whaling - the end of the Whale War.
